About us and the role

We are seeking a Learning Coach to join our dedicated team at Avanti Meadows Primary School. This role would ideally suit a current Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge, or someone who is looking to start a career working with our young people in education.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils to thrive both in and beyond the classroom, working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide high-quality learning and pastoral support. Whether supporting individual learners, small groups or whole-class activities, you will help create an inclusive and encouraging environment where every child feels valued and able to achieve their full potential.

This is a role for someone who brings enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine passion for education. You will contribute to a culture where every child is recognised as a unique individual, supporting not only their academic progress but also their social and emotional development. Through building positive relationships with pupils, collaborating with colleagues, engaging with families and supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND, you will help shape a school experience that is inclusive, connected and meaningful for every learner.

In return, you will become part of a supportive and collaborative school community where your contribution is valued, and where you will have opportunities to develop your skills and grow professionally through working alongside dedicated colleagues.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

As a growing school at the centre of a developing community, Avanti Meadows offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team. Surrounded by fields and new housing estates, the school is a centre for the new community developing in the north of Bishop’s Stortford. The school is rated “good” with “outstanding” in personal development.

Avanti Meadows is a non-faith, community school that embraces inclusion and diversity. “From the very start, pupils develop the deep consideration for others, self-reflection and kind relationships that are at the heart of this school.” Avanti Meadows Ofsted Inspection Report, March 2024

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
