About us and the role

We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated team of Learning Coaches for our Nursery provision at Avanti Gardens, working specifically with our 2–3-year-old class at a vital stage in their early development.

Avanti Gardens is seeking a skilled and motivated Learning Coach to support teaching and learning across our primary phase.

Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality classroom support, leading targeted interventions, and helping pupils to access a broad and engaging curriculum. You will work with children with a range of needs, adapting your approach to ensure every pupil can thrive both academically and personally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education, pupil development, and building positive relationships.

The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive, values-led, and ambitious learning environment, where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time. Interviews will be taking place on Friday 11th September 2026.

Please note that we may close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, we'd encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.

Avanti Gardens is a primary school situated in Fishponds, Bristol. The school is housed in a beautiful campus, that was previously an all-through school, and before that part of Bristol University, which means it has many facilities that primary schools don’t, like a full-size auditorium and sports hall. “We’re really fortunate, even though we are in the middle of Bristol, there’s lot of outdoor areas that we can use.” - Mrs Rodgers, Inclusion Lead.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
