About the team

The Learning team sits within our People function and helps colleagues access clear, inclusive and engaging learning that supports them to perform at their best. Working across Learning Design and Learning Technology, the team manages content from initial production through to launch, ongoing updates and evaluation. You’ll join a collaborative environment where different perspectives are welcomed, trusted partnerships matter and everyone is encouraged to look beyond team boundaries to improve the colleague and customer experience.

More about the role

As a Learning Content Assistant, you’ll support the Learning Design Manager with the production and delivery processes that keep our learning content accurate, accessible and easy to use. Day to day, you’ll test learning objects against accessibility, inclusivity and design standards, upload and update SCORM content within our learning management systems, and keep assignment guides, project records, files and version control up to date.

You’ll manage content update requests from initial stakeholder discussion through to amendment, re-upload and updating documentation. You’ll also administer My Learning content pages on Our Sainsbury’s, support supplier set-up and content administration, and may coordinate small projects that contribute to our wider content strategy. By using feedback, data and insight to identify issues and improve processes, you’ll help deliver dependable learning experiences for colleagues and, ultimately, better outcomes for our customers.

More about you

You’re organised and detail-focused, with a practical approach to managing several requests and maintaining accurate records. You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments and raise risks early, helping the team deliver reliably and with clear accountability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You build productive relationships across teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders and are comfortable seeking input from people with different perspectives. You’ll be confident working independently within agreed processes while also sharing knowledge and contributing to an inclusive, collaborative team.

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrable experience of administering a learning management system, including testing, uploading or updating SCORM content.
  • Proven ability to test digital learning content against documented accessibility, inclusivity and design standards, and accurately record outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing content updates, file storage and version control from request through to completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including using Excel to maintain trackers, plans or structured records.
  • Evidence of coordinating work with stakeholders across teams, managing agreed actions and delivering to documented deadlines.

Useful, but not essential: Experience of Cornerstone, EdCast or collaborative planning tools such as Miro.
