Why join us

Joining Argos as a Learning Content & Compliance Specialist means becoming a vital part of our dedicated team at Argos People, where you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of learning solutions. With a focus on simplifying learning assignments, managing content suppliers, and ensuring compliance, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality training to our employees.

We're looking for a specialist who has operated in a fast-paced and potentially multi-site structure, can lean on data to make informed decisions and ensure all that we deliver is compliant. If you are passionate about organisational skills, learning management systems, and fostering positive relationships across teams, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can make a real impact and grow both personally and professionally within a supportive and collaborative culture.

What you'll do

You'll play a crucial role in supporting the Learning Designer by administering production and delivery processes, managing learning content, testing learning objects for inclusivity and accessibility, and updating existing content. You will collaborate closely with the learning technology team to ensure smooth LMS administrative processes and provide technical guidance for learning solution development.

Your responsibilities will include managing third-party content, updating content based on stakeholder requests, maintaining accurate file storage, and leading content reviews to support continuous improvement and evaluation metrics. Your excellent organisational skills, knowledge of Learning Management Systems, and ability to build productive relationships across teams will be key in ensuring the smooth operation and effective delivery of learning solutions within the organisation.

Who you are

You're a detail-oriented professional with excellent organisational skills and a strong understanding of learning management systems and content administration. With your experience in testing and uploading SCORM content, coupled with your proficiency in project management and prioritisation, you ensure the smooth production and delivery of learning solutions. Your ability to build trusted relationships, seek opportunities for improvement, and take ownership of tasks demonstrates your commitment to delivering high-quality learning content that aligns with the organisation's goals and values.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Argos, we’re a digital‑led British retailer moving at pace – reshaping how customers shop and how work gets done. Our People team sits at the heart of that transformation. The Argos People function is a commercially‑minded, high‑impact team partnering leaders to deliver growth, build capability and create a high‑performance culture. We work on the things that matter most – from organisation design and talent to culture, reward and transformation – balancing pace with care, and outcomes with colleague experience. We’re looking for People professionals who want to help shape the future of Argos, and who are comfortable working with ambiguity in a constantly changing landscape. This is an environment where priorities shift, problems aren’t always fully defined, and impact comes from judgement, influence and action – not just process. This is a place where you’ll have real accountability, a clear voice, and the opportunity to influence how a major retail business evolves. If you thrive in complexity, enjoy solving real business problems and want to play an active role in building what comes next, Argos People is the place to build your career.
