Job Objectives and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support for the collation, review, and allocation of training for both operational and non-operational staff. This role ensures compliance with contractual, MOJ, company, legislative, and relevant standards.
- Ensure all training is recorded, reviewed, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner by the appropriate person or department to achieve compliance with contractual, MOJ, company, and legislative requirements.
- Process and disseminate relevant information accurately and within deadlines.
- Provide support and advice to staff and local managers to ensure quality standards are met in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Support the development and production of the training performance report, ensuring all key information is accurately recorded and reported to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to a climate of innovation and continuous improvement, focusing on meeting contractual requirements, adding value, and delivering best practices.
- Promote commitment and compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards to ensure these are embedded across the contract.
- Assist stakeholders by responding constructively to questions and action points from the Independent Monitoring Board (IMB), His Majesty's Inspector of Prisons (HMIP), and the MOJ Contract Monitoring Team.
- Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare for and actively participate in performance reviews and internal/external inspections.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills with both verbal and written English of a high standard.
- Intermediate to expert IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience working in a prison or secure environment is advantageous.
- Experience in a customer service role or similar is advantageous.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable.
