Learning & Development Coordinator - 13-month maternity cover contract

📍 Location: Cambridge (must be able to walk or able to get public transport to central Cambridge as no parking on site)

⏰ Working hours: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs (fully office based until 6-month probation is passed, then hybrid option)

💷 Salary: £33,000 - £40,000

Role Overview:

As our Learning & Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating our global learning, development, and onboarding activities. Your mission? To ensure every colleague receives a smooth, engaging, and high-quality experience from the moment they join our team and throughout their career!

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate our global induction programme for new starters, ensuring all materials are accurate and engaging.
  • Be the go-to person for induction and onboarding queries, providing clear and helpful guidance to colleagues.
  • Create, maintain, and update learning and onboarding materials to reflect current processes and feedback.
  • Oversee internal training programmes, ensuring all colleagues have access to essential training.
  • Support the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS), keeping records accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate external training requests, arranging bookings and tracking key milestones.
  • Gather and review feedback to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to ensure effective delivery of L&D activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must have recent experience within a learning and development role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an excellent experience for new starters.
  • Excellent attention to detail and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
