The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning & Development Co-ordinator to provide high-quality administrative and operational support for HR-led learning and development activity. The role will coordinate the systems, records, communications and processes supporting our Learning Management System, appraisal cycle, trainees, apprentices and professional qualification routes.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and capable administrator who can take ownership of processes, maintain accurate records and provide a responsive service to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage post qualification offers for lawyers, Trainee Solicitors, Pupil Barristers, Costs Lawyers and more, adhering to SLA’s.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Learning Management System (LMS) HR related queries, user access and enrolments.
  • Strong understanding of LMS and other digital systems such as HR Information Systems.
  • Monitor mandatory training completion and issue reminders, escalating where appropriate.
  • Coordinate the firm's comprehensive appraisal process, including enrolments, communications, reporting and completion tracking.
  • Administer Professional Skills Course (PSC) bookings and maintain associated records.
  • Support the administration of trainee, apprenticeship and qualification programmes, including application tracking and record management.
  • Maintain qualification route trackers and support post-qualification offer processes.
  • Provide administrative support in relation to SQE, LPC, CILEX, Bar and other professional qualification routes.
  • Act as a point of contact for trainee and apprentice queries, escalating matters where appropriate.
  • Coordinate study day allocations, CPD records, Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) requests and related compliance requirements.
  • Track supervisor approvals and maintain records of required supervisor training.
  • Produce reports, analyse data and identify opportunities to improve HR learning and development processes.
  • Support the HR team with projects and additional administrative duties as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
