Learning & Development Partner | Retail | London

We're partnering with a well-known retail brand looking for an experienced Learning & Development Partner to help shape how their people learn, develop and grow. This is an opportunity to join a business that's investing heavily in its people, where learning isn't an afterthought, it's a genuine business priority.

You'll work closely with leaders across the business, designing engaging learning experiences, developing future talent and ensuring colleagues have the skills and confidence they need to thrive, whether they're joining the business for the first time or preparing for their next step.

If you love creating impactful learning, building capability and seeing people develop, this could be the role you've been looking for.

What you'll be doing

No two days will look the same, but you'll be involved in:

  • Partnering with leaders to identify capability gaps and future development needs.
  • Designing and delivering engaging learning programmes across retail and head office.
  • Creating blended learning experiences including face-to-face workshops, virtual learning and digital content.
  • Developing product knowledge programmes alongside internal subject matter experts.
  • Facilitating workshops that inspire, challenge and build confidence.
  • Supporting talent development, succession planning and career pathways.
  • Helping managers become brilliant people developers.
  • Continuously reviewing the impact of learning programmes and adapting where needed.
  • Playing a key role in creating an outstanding onboarding experience for new colleagues across the UK, US and France.
  • Being a trusted partner to retail teams, supporting learning initiatives and development conversations across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
