The role
As an Adult Social Worker, you will support adults across a range of community settings, including:
- Private homes
- Supported-living services
- Residential homes
- Nursing homes
You will manage a varied caseload and undertake meaningful, statutory Adult Social Care work, including:
- Safeguarding enquiries and risk management
- Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions
- Court of Protection work
- Assessing, implementing and reviewing care and support packages
- Managing referrals for supported living, residential and nursing placements
- Working closely with adults, families, carers, health professionals, providers and partner agencies
- Delivering strengths-based assessments, care planning and case management focused on independence and positive outcomes
What we're looking for
To be considered, you will need:
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Current Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within Adult Social Care
- Strong working knowledge of adult safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and Best Interest processes
- Confident assessment, care planning and case-management skills
- A person-centred approach and commitment to helping adults achieve the outcomes that matter to them
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high-quality case recording and practice
