Learning Disability Support Worker

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Hours: 19 hours per week - Day shifts
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Full UK Driving Licence: Essential

At Park Drive, we support two ladies and one gentleman with learning disabilities to live happy, fulfilling, and as independent as possible lives.

What will you be doing?

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support that helps the people we support enjoy life, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

Your role may include:

  • Supporting with personal care and daily living.
  • Promoting independence and encouraging people to make their own choices.
  • Supporting positive behaviours and helping individuals build confidence.
  • Helping people attend appointments and take part in activities and social outings.
  • Supporting people to enjoy their hobbies and interests.
  • Helping people stay connected with their local community.
  • Using adapted vehicles to support trips and activities.
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
