Learning Disability Support Worker

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire

Hours: 19 hours per week (Days)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

A full UK driving licence is essential. We offer a flexible rota and are happy to discuss shifts to suit your availability.

Some people remember the care they received. Everyone remembers the person who gave it. You'll lead by example, support your team and make sure every resident receives the kind of care you'd want for your own family.

About The Role

Park Drive is home to two ladies and one gentleman with learning disabilities who enjoy a variety of hobbies and being part of their local community. We're looking for caring, motivated people who can support them to live fulfilling, independent lives while having fun along the way.

No two days are the same. You'll provide person-centred support, including personal care, promoting independence, supporting behaviour, building confidence, and helping people attend appointments, activities, and social outings using adapted vehicles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
