Learning & Enablement Specialist
Contract: 3–6 months
Rate: Up to £400 per day

The Opportunity
We are working with a leading global technology organisation to recruit a Learning & Enablement Specialist to support its go-to-market and customer success teams across a rapidly evolving portfolio of digital products, emerging technology and AI.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning, Enablement, Instructional Design or Learning Content professional to work in a fast-paced technology environment, creating practical and engaging learning experiences for technical and commercial audiences.
The organisation is investing heavily in onboarding, continuous learning and evergreen enablement, moving beyond traditional classroom-based training towards digital, on-demand and "everboarding" experiences that help employees stay current as products, technology and priorities evolve.
The Role
You will play a hands-on role across the full learning and content development lifecycle, from initial discovery and needs analysis through to instructional design, content creation, stakeholder review and final delivery.
A key focus will be developing onboarding and continuous enablement for technical sales, customer success, partner and engineering audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured onboarding programmes and learning journeys for technical and commercial audiences.
- Translate role requirements and business objectives into clear learning outcomes, pathways and milestones.
- Develop evergreen and continuous learning content to support employees beyond initial onboarding.
- Conduct discovery and needs analysis to understand audience, business and learning requirements.
- Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create effective learning experiences.
- Write, edit and structure high-quality learning and enablement content.
- Create and adapt a wide range of learning assets, including:
- Digital learning and e-learning
- Slide decks
- Facilitator guides
- Participant workbooks
- Playbooks
- Toolkits
- Quick-reference guides
- Exercises and assessments
- Reinforcement materials
- Translate complex technical and product information into clear, accessible and engaging learning.
- Adapt content for different audiences including sales, customer success, partners, technical sales and engineering teams.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information, clarify requirements and validate content.
- Manage stakeholder reviews, feedback and approval processes through to final sign-off.
- Collaborate with visual designers and other content specialists to create engaging, professional learning assets.
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, dependencies, version control and quality standards are maintained.
- Support virtual, live and blended learning activity where required.
- Gather feedback and use learner and stakeholder insight to continuously improve content and learning journeys.

About You
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in learning content development, instructional design or enablement, with demonstrable experience personally creating learning assets.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Learning Design, Sales Enablement or Learning Content Development.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on involvement in taking content from discovery through to completed and approved assets.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and content development skills.
- The ability to simplify complex information while retaining accuracy and important detail.
- Strong working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating learning or enablement for sales, customer success, technical, partner or engineering audiences.
- Experience designing or delivering employee onboarding programmes is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with subject matter experts, designers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong project and production management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to feedback and iteration, with high standards for accuracy, clarity and quality.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving technology environment where products, messaging and priorities can change quickly.

Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Enterprise SaaS
- Technology or digital organisations
- Artificial intelligence / AI
- Agentic AI
- Conversational commerce
- Technical sales enablement
- Customer success enablement
- Digital learning
- Enterprise technology products
Familiarity with Google Workspace, learning management systems, content authoring tools and project management platforms would also be beneficial.
Seniority
We are open to candidates across a range of experience levels, from early-career through to early-senior.
Candidates with 1–3 years' relevant experience may be suitable where they can demonstrate strong content development skills and the ability to own defined assets and workstreams.
More experienced candidates will ideally bring deeper end-to-end enablement expertise, stronger stakeholder leadership and the ability to shape learning programmes and resolve ambiguity independently.
At every level, hands-on content creation is essential.
This role would not be suited to candidates whose experience is primarily focused on training delivery, programme management or learning strategy without significant practical content development experience.
