Job title: Learning & Engagement Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and person-centred learning & engagement coordinator to develop and deliver meaningful learning, activity and community opportunities for the service users.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, discovering what people are interested in, and helping them recognise and develop their strengths, abilities and potential.
You will work closely with service users to understand their individual interests, hobbies, aspirations and goals and use this information to create opportunities that promote choice, independence, confidence, learning, social inclusion, and community participation.
The successful candidate will be approachable, enthusiastic and creative, with the ability to think differently and develop activities and opportunities that are meaningful to the individuals we support. You will need to be comfortable taking the initiative, adapting plans when circumstances change, and finding new and imaginative ways to engage people.

- Provide opportunities for service users to learn practical and life skills which can contribute towards greater independence.
- Encourage service users to try new experiences while ensuring appropriate support and risk management is in place.
- Review activities regularly to establish what individuals have gained from their participation and how opportunities can be developed further.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, participation, and outcomes in accordance with the organisation's procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
