Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer to support the design, delivery, administration and continuous improvement of learning solutions across the organisation. The role combines instructional design, learning technology administration and programme management, working closely with Learning and Development manager to deliver a L&D strategy alongside working with business stakeholders to deliver engaging learning experiences that support organisational and individual development.
This position is ideal for a learning professional with experience creating digital content, managing learning systems, and supporting learning programmes, who is looking to broaden their exposure to learning strategy, curriculum development and talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Programme Design and Delivery
- Design and develop engaging LMS-enabled learning resources, including e-learning modules, videos, job aids, presentations and blended learning programmes.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into effective learning solutions.
- Manage projects from concept to delivery, for all operational and technical learning programmes, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Learning Management System Administration
- Act as a key contact for Learning Management System (LMS) administration, user support and reporting.
- Manage course creation, learner enrolments, learning pathways and programme tracking.
- Produce regular reporting and insights on learner engagement, completion rates and programme effectiveness.
- Identify and implement system enhancements that improve the learner experience and administrative efficiency.

Stakeholder Partnership
- Build strong working relationships with HR, business leaders and subject matter experts.
- Conduct learning needs analysis to identify development requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support managers with learning recommendations, professional qualifications and development opportunities.
- Contribute to learning projects and initiatives that align with organisational objectives.
Learning Operations and Project Management
- Coordinate learning programmes from concept planning through to delivery and evaluation.
- Manage communications, scheduling, learner registrations and vendor relationships where required.
- Ensure training materials, processes and records are maintained accurately.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Gather learner feedback and evaluate programme effectiveness.
- Analyse learning metrics and recommend improvements based on data and business feedback.
- Stay informed on learning technology, instructional design trends and innovative learning practices.
- Contribute ideas to enhance the organisation's learning culture and learner engagement.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience working within a Learning & Development, Talent Development or Training function.
- Experience administering an LMS and producing learning reports.
- Experience designing digital learning content and learning resources, using numerous authoring tools.
- Experience coordinating and delivering learning programmes from concept to delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret learning data and identify trends.
Technical Skills
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe applications – particularly Illustrator, Premiere Pro, for creating graphics, editing images, and producing video content.
- Experience designing and developing e-learning content using Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline.
- Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
- Proficiency in survey, reporting and evaluation tools to gather feedback, analyse data and measure learning effectiveness.
