Learning Lead

I am recruiting an engaging and proactive Learning Lead to drive learning and development initiatives across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a positive learning culture, delivering high-quality development programmes that enhance leadership capability, colleague performance, and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programmes covering leadership, management, personal development, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Facilitate engaging inductions and mandatory learning disability and autism training.
  • Create high-quality learning materials for colleagues at all levels.
  • Deliver training through face-to-face, virtual, and blended learning methods.

Leadership Development

  • Develop and lead management and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support coaching networks and promote best practice.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues throughout their career journey.

Compliance & Mandatory Training

  • Monitor mandatory training compliance and maintain accurate records.
  • Review and update learning content to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage training requirements.

Talent & Performance Development

  • Support performance and development review processes.
  • Deliver coaching, mentoring, and psychometric feedback where appropriate.
  • Contribute to talent development programmes and career progression initiatives.

Evaluation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Analyse learning data, attendance, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, colleagues, and external providers.
  • Promote learning opportunities across the organisation.
  • Support reporting, budget monitoring, and supplier management activities.

Digital Learning & Innovation

  • Develop digital learning content and online resources.
  • Support the expansion of blended and e-learning solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to modernise learning processes and improve engagement.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Learning & Development, Leadership, Coaching, or Organisational Development.
  • Experience designing and delivering impactful learning programmes.
  • Skilled facilitator with knowledge of different learning styles.
  • Experience conducting training needs analysis and implementing development solutions.
  • Ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable

  • CIPD, CMI, or similar professional membership.
  • Qualification in digital learning design.
  • Psychometric accreditation (e.g., Insights Discovery, MBTI).
  • Project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Experience with e-learning platforms such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics tools.

First stage interviews will take place on the 8th & 11th September, with final stage interviews taking place on 29th September, so you must be available on both of these days.
