Are you an experienced Learning and Development professional who enjoys helping people grow and thrive, enabling high performance and creating engaging learning experiences?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Manager to join our global Learning Team. Reporting to the Global Head of Learning, you'll play a key role in delivering Mourant's people strategy by partnering with leaders, teams and colleagues across the firm to identify development needs and implement impactful learning solutions.

You'll help maintain and nurture a culture of continuous learning, career development and performance excellence.

About the role

In this role, you will:

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across education, training and development, enabling individuals and teams to enhance their performance.
  • Identify team, skills and capability needs, recommending practical learning solutions aligned with Mourant’s strategic and business priorities.
  • Design and deliver engaging professional and business skills development initiatives and activities.
  • Develop and manage learning programmes and development centres linked to career pathways and the Mourant Academy.
  • Use learning technologies, digital content and AI tools to create effective, impactful blended learning experiences.
  • Analyse learning data, evaluate impact and produce regular reports that provide leaders with meaningful and actionable insights.
  • Manage learning activity within agreed budgets, ensuring solutions are relevant, accessible and cost effective.
  • Collaborate with Learning Team colleagues to improve processes, practices and the overall learner experience.

About you: essential requirements

  • Proven experience in a Learning and Development role within professional services or a similarly complex, client focused environment.
  • The ability to translate business priorities and organisational frameworks into clear capability outcomes, practical learning experiences and useful workplace resources.
  • Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering learning solutions across multiple formats, including face to face, virtual and digital learning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence, consult, collaborate and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Confident and responsible use of learning technology and AI tools to improve access, practice, application and performance.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills, supported by effective organisational, analytical and problem solving abilities.
