Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: H5 Point 9 - 14

Closing Date: 31st August 2026

This is a role for someone who will reduce low-level and challenging behavior, support vulnerable students (particularly those with SEND and those eligible for pupil premium), and help shape consistent, restorative practice across a smaller-than-average 11–16 school. You will work day-to-day with pupils, parents, and staff to keep students learning and to ensure smooth reintegration after suspensions.

About this role / why this role matters

You will lead on implementation of the school Behaviour Policy and coordinate the Behaviour Facilities, using behavior data to design targeted interventions. The role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in school pastoral or support roles who can de-escalate, mentor, and coach others in consistent behavior practice. Your work will directly improve classroom climate and student outcomes at Goffs-Churchgate Academy.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead consistent implementation of the Behaviour Policy across staff and students.
  • Manage the Behaviour Facilities (curriculum, staffing, routines) and contribute to improving systems and structures.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze behavior data to identify trends and support targeted interventions with SLT.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who display challenging behavior; deliver and monitor intervention plans.
  • Support reintegration after suspension to ensure pupils return successfully to mainstream lessons.
  • Coach and support staff with behavior management strategies and provide training to promote consistent practice.
  • Communicate daily with parents, lead meetings, and build collaborative relationships to support behavior improvement.
  • Develop links with external providers to meet specific pupil needs and uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
