Role Overview

Behind every successful development programme, workshop, mentoring initiative or learning platform is a well-organised operation that makes it easy for people to learn, grow and apply new skills.

At GÉANT, learning plays an important role in helping our people, teams and leaders build the capabilities needed to support a highly international organisation operating at the intersection of technology, research and education. As part of the GÉANT Learning & Development (GLAD) team, you'll help create the conditions that enable continuous learning and professional growth across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex activities, working with a wide range of stakeholders and making processes run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll develop your expertise as an L&D professional while gaining opportunities to build skills in facilitation, presenting, eLearning design and development, and programme delivery.

What You'll Do

Learning Delivery & Coordination

  • Support the design, development and delivery of internal learning activities and development programmes
  • Prepare learning materials, resources and participant communications
  • Provide support to facilitators and learners before, during and after learning activities
  • Coordinate learner registrations, joining instructions and post-session follow-up
  • Contribute to talent, mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organisation

Learner & Stakeholder Experience

  • Act as a key point of contact for learning-related enquiries and requests through the GLAD inbox
  • Build positive relationships with learners, facilitators and internal stakeholders
  • Help resolve operational issues and ensure learning activities run smoothly
  • Promote learning opportunities and encourage engagement across the organisation

Learning Operations & Systems

  • Maintain learning processes, guidance documents, workflows and operational procedures
  • Administer learning platforms, licences and user access, including eAcademy, O'Reilly, LinkedIn Learning and iHASCO
  • Manage learning resources, documentation, SharePoint sites, webpages and knowledge repositories
  • Support governance, compliance, audit and record-keeping requirements across learning activities

External Learning & Supplier Management

  • Coordinate externally delivered workshops, programmes and development activities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for learning suppliers, facilitators and external partners
  • Maintain records of approved providers and support onboarding and scheduling activities
  • Coordinate contracts, procurement processes and invoice administration

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
