Lead the Design and Delivery of Learning and Organisational Development Initiatives

Lead the design and delivery of learning and organisational development initiatives that build future workforce capability across a complex organisation. Working closely with leaders and HR teams, you'll drive digital learning transformation, support the implementation of a new learning platform, and help shape development strategies that enhance performance, leadership, and employee experience.

Job Offer

  • Salary: £50,253 - £58,226
  • Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (with potential for permanency)
  • Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week on site in Wolverhampton
  • Benefits:
    • 30 days leave per annum + concessionary days which includes shut-down week at Xmas
    • Pension via Standard life - company will contribute max up to 12%

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and HR colleagues to assess current and future workforce capability needs.
  • Develop and deliver learning and development initiatives that support organisational priorities.
  • Lead and support the implementation of a new learning management system and associated e-learning provision.
  • Drive the effective utilisation of platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and other digital learning resources.
  • Design engaging blended learning solutions including face-to-face, virtual, and self-directed learning.
  • Work collaboratively with internal specialists, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create impactful learning content.
  • Support leadership and management development initiatives.
  • Review and improve performance, development, and feedback frameworks, including manager check-ins, probation processes, and one-to-ones.
  • Use data and insight to measure impact, identify trends, and shape future learning priorities.
  • Contribute to wider organisational development, employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture programmes.

Profile

  • Experience designing and delivering learning and organisational development initiatives within a complex organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience developing learning pathways, capability frameworks, and leadership development programmes.
  • Knowledge of digital learning platforms and e-learning implementation.
  • Experience of Cornerstone or a similar Learning Management System (LMS) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and future workforce planning.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Learning & organisational development experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes.
  • Knowledge of LMS and digital learning platforms.
  • Experience implementing e-learning solutions (Cornerstone desirable).

  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
