We're now looking for a Learning Solutions Consultant to join our Bespoke team on a 14-month maternity cover contract (possibility of going permanent). This is a rare opportunity to step into one of the most visible and influential roles within the business, shaping solutions that directly impact customers, learners, and commercial success.
The Role
Where creativity meets commercial thinking.
As Learning Solutions Consultant, you'll be responsible for translating client challenges into impactful learning solutions.
You'll lead discovery conversations, shape solution architecture, write proposals, develop costings, and present recommendations to clients. For larger or more complex opportunities, you'll design and facilitate consultancy engagements that help clients identify the right solution before development begins.
Working closely with Account Managers, the Sales Manager, and Production teams, you'll ensure every learning solution starts with a strong commercial and learning foundation. You'll have a direct influence on what we create, how we create it, and the outcomes it delivers.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Proposal Development
- Analyse client briefs and identify underlying business and learning needs.
- Lead discovery and solutioning conversations with prospective and existing clients.
- Facilitate ideation sessions with Account Managers and internal stakeholders.
- Design bespoke learning solutions aligned to business outcomes.
- Develop project scopes, pricing, and commercial recommendations.
- Write, present, and defend proposals with clients and stakeholders.

Consultancy & Discovery
- Design and lead consultancy phases for clients requiring deeper analysis.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Review existing learning content, programmes, and capabilities.
- Apply learning science and consulting expertise to recommend the most effective solution architecture.
- Help customers define success measures and desired outcomes.
Project Handover & Delivery Support
- Lead solution walkthroughs with Production and delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are fully scoped and ready for delivery.
- Conduct content readiness reviews and quality checks.
- Provide support and guidance throughout production where required.
- Lead post-project measurement and success review conversations with customers.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, and Production.
- Balance commercial objectives with learning quality.
- Support bid qualification activities and client partnership discussions.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple opportunities and projects.
Required Skills, Experience, and Behaviours
Essential
- 5+ years' experience across learning design, consultancy, and proposal development.
- Strong background in bespoke learning solutions.
- Knowledge of Articulate products and modern learning technologies.
- Experience leading client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and consulting engagements.
- Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience scoping, costing, and presenting learning solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align solutions to business objectives.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex challenges and turn them into practical learning recommendations.
Beneficial
- Experience working with global customers and complex learning programmes.
- Familiarity with leading LMS platforms.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and AI within learning and development.
