We’re looking for an experienced Learning Solutions Designer to join our growing team. This is a key role within our Product department, focused on translating assessment requirements into clear, engaging content.
You’ll be someone who can take complex topics and make them easy to understand. You’ll have a great eye for detail and understand the nuances of assessment delivery, as well as the regulatory impact.
Working with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll support the management of the product roadmap and programme of regulatory changes. You will design, maintain and test high-quality assessment materials to support all assessment activities.
This role also plays a key part in the quality and growth of our business, so we’re looking for someone who shares our quality and people-first values.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating engaging and factual content that supports learners, providers, and other stakeholders throughout the assessment journey. This includes videos, animation, and support documentation.
- Development of apprenticeship standards, assessment materials for EPA and apprenticeship assessment in line with roadmap and budget.
- Maintaining and refining existing assessment materials, processes, and documentation in line with the roadmap and document control register.
- Risk assessing the viability of our products from design to delivery, to ensure scalability and high quality.
- Applying instructional design principles and learning theories to create effective, accessible, and engaging learning materials.
- Content creation of key artifacts to support learners, providers, and employers.
- Technical application of learning technologies using up-to-date authoring tools, platforms, software, AI tools, and multimedia applications to build online assessment, MCQs, learning materials, and supporting documentation.

- Compliance with Ofqual’s General Condition of Recognition across all tasks.
- Maintaining CPD for appropriate competency and knowledge to support the range of assessments we offer.
- Potential to support or carry out assessment delivery.

- Other duties as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
