£25,614 - £26,847 per annum, National Joint Council Pay Scale Grade 3, Points 4-6
Hours
32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year plus training days, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm with 30 minute lunch break
Contract
Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027, required as soon as possible from 2 November 2026

Combs Ford Primary School currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide learning and care support for children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in class, in small groups or 1:1.
We are looking for a candidate who will:
- Provide learning and care support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in class, in small groups or 1:1.
- Be the Designated Adult for named children.
- Work with the teacher to plan and deliver activities.
- Support children with routines, transitions and behaviour management including successful entry into school in the morning.
- Responsible for supervising children and leading activities during the lunch break to ensure that the break runs effectively and that the safety and welfare of children is maintained.

Combs Ford Primary is a two-form entry primary school located to the south of the market town of Stowmarket where the Rivers Gipping and Rattlesden meet. We currently have 270 children on roll. We are proud of our family ethos and strive to enable all our children to become confident individuals who are able to lead safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
