Salary: £26,017 - £26,846 per annum pro rata

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible

Bures CEVC Primary School are seeking to appoint an effective and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and skilled team. You will be working under the guidance of our teaching staff to support our children access the best possible education.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Can consistently engage pupils in quality learning
  • Enjoys working with individuals with all sorts of strengths and needs
  • Has, ideally, some experience of working with children
  • Has an ability to liaise closely with the class teacher
  • Has a good sense of humour and enjoys working within a team.

Experience of establishing a positive relationship, implementing planned learning activities and teaching programmes, including English and Maths as agreed with the teacher, participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher including providing feedback to the teacher on the pupil’s progress, and promote inclusion and acceptance of children within the classroom.
