A leading education recruitment agency is currently looking for 2 experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a welcoming primary school in Aveley.
The successful candidates will work within a Year 1 classroom, supporting pupils with high levels of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language difficulties, while also providing general classroom support.
The Role
As An LSA, You Will
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Support children with ASD and speech and language difficulties.
- Help pupils access learning and participate positively in classroom activities.
- Provide general classroom support to the teacher and wider class.
- Assist with pupils' social, emotional and educational development.
- Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Are
- Experienced in working with children in a primary school setting.
- Confident supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD.
- Experienced or confident supporting children with speech and language difficulties.
- Reliable, patient and nurturing.
- Able to build positive relationships with children.
- Confident working as part of a wider classroom team.
- Available for a long-term role.
