We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who brings enthusiasm, care and a commitment to inclusion, working alongside teachers to remove barriers to learning and support pupils' progress, wellbeing and participation. Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time
Working Pattern: 12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Thursday & Friday 08:30am-15:15pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break)
Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals and small groups to access learning, develop independence and engage fully in lessons.
- Assist teachers with classroom organisation, learning resources and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and pupil wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately.
- Support pupils during assessments, educational visits and supervisory duties as required.
- Contribute to pupil records, assessment activities and effective communication with staff and families.
