Location: Strand On The Green Junior School, Thames Road, Chiswick, W4 3NX

Salary: Approx £21,186 per annum

Learning Support Assistant and Play Assistant

Dates: Required immediately

Salary:

  • Midday Supervisor (SMSA): Scale 1a (Point 2 pro rata actual approx. £3,272)
  • Learning Support Assistant: Scale 5 (Point 11 pro rata actual approx. £9,621)
  • Play Assistant: Scale 1b (Point 3 pro rata actual approx. £8,294)

Location: Strand on the Green Junior School, Thames Rd, Chiswick, W4 3NX

Headteacher: Ruth Woods

Contract type: Part time 11:50 to 17:50 (30 hrs a week, term time only)

  • Midday Supervisor (SMSA): 11.50 - 12.50
  • Learning Support Assistant: 12:50-15:20
  • Play Assistant: 15:20-17:50

Contract term: Permanent

Strand on the Green Juniors is a vibrant three form entry school with a SEND resource base for children with ASC. Situated close to the river in an attractive part of Chiswick, Strand on the Green Junior School is a successful school looking for a Learning Support Assistant who will work with children in the classroom as well as support children out of class as a SMSA at lunchtimes and Play Assistant at our aftercare provision. The successful candidate will be passionate about helping students with additional needs and leading play out of class hours. Candidates should be qualified to at least level 2, preferably level 3, and be experienced in working with children with SEND.
