Ark Little Ridge is a popular and over-subscribed school in the heart of Hastings graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ in all areas by Ofsted. (October 2023) It has a proven track record of raising standards for its pupils, particularly our most vulnerable.
We are a two-form entry school with a full cohort of 60 pupils in each year group. Our staff are very committed to knowing each child and providing them with the very best care.
We are seeking to appoint, as early in the new academic year as possible, TWO highly motivated Individual Needs Assistants. These roles will be fixed term positions for twelve months as they are funding-dependent. They will involve supporting the learning and development of small groups and individual pupils.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
