We are looking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants. Working under the guidance of the SENDCO and teaching staff, you will provide individual and small-group support to students. You will help students access the curriculum, develop confidence and independence, and achieve their educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and small-group support to students.
  • Help students access the curriculum.
  • Develop students' confidence and independence.
  • Assist in achieving students' educational outcomes.
  • Work as part of a team to promote positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Patience, adaptability, and commitment to supporting students.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and work collaboratively.

Working Hours

  • 30 hours per week, term time only.
  • Temporary role until 31 August 2027.
