Houldsworth Valley Primary Academy

Salary: £26,016 - £26,846 per annum (pro rata), Actual salary £9,191 - £9,484 per annum, Grade 3 Spinal Point 4 - 6
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027, starting in October 2026

To realise our goal, we have an opening for a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our ambitious and motivated team, working within our Hub, supporting children with Communication and Interaction needs.
As a LSA (Learning Support Assistant) and a member of the Houldsworth team, you will gain access to a range of professional development opportunities.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
- is child focused
- has a passion for education
- can inspire a love of learning and nurture success
- has high expectations of themselves and the children they work with
- is highly motivated and willing to help the school on its journey of improvement.
As the successful candidate, you will work under the supervision of the teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. This may include providing general support for whole class learning activities, or supporting individuals or small groups of pupils. To attend to the personal and social needs of pupils in order to support their learning and development.
