Contract Term: Permanent

Salary: £16,000 - £19,000

A leading independent school in Hampshire on the Surrey and Berkshire borders is seeking a Learning Support Assistant from September or October 2026. This is a full-time and permanent role.

Standard working hours - Monday to Thursday 8.30-4pm and Friday (phone number removed)pm

Under the teacher’s clear guidance, to support the education, personal, and social development of pupils in the class, including those with special needs, and to establish a positive relationship with pupils.

  • To undertake activities to assist in monitoring the personal, social, and emotional needs of pupils.
  • To develop positive relationships with pupils to assist pupil progress and attainment.
  • To assist in the devising of pupils’ individual targets and their monitoring and review.
  • Support pupils as part of a planned inclusion programme.
  • To support the child at playtime as necessary.
