About the Position
The school is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join its team from November, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-achieving and supportive environment.
Role Requirements
The successful applicant will need to:
- Have a relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) together with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Have a working knowledge of the national curriculum to support and extend learning under the direction of the class teacher.
- Have high standards and present as a positive role model for pupils.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work as part of a successful and supportive team.
- Be able to show initiative when required.
- Have experience of working with primary aged children to support their learning and well-being.
- Liaise with parents/carers to build positive relationships.
- Be willing to develop their own skills through participation in training opportunities.
