About the Role

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant and Carer to join the Foundation Studies team, providing support in a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of personalised learning opportunities. You will assist learners who require one to one support to experience all aspects of College life, including practical personal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Flexible Team Support: Work well as part of a team to respond dynamically to individual student needs to help remove barriers and support our learners to flourish and build their independence.

Requirements

  • Understanding and experience of working with young people and/or adults who have diverse learning needs and/or disabilities.
  • Qualified and experienced First Aider with the relevant care training and qualifications.
  • High standard of communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

  • Term-time Only: 37 hours per week, 35 weeks per year at our Watford Campus.
