About the Role
- Leading and quality assuring SEND provision across designated curriculum areas.
- Managing and developing Learning Support Tutors and Learning Support Assistants.
- Overseeing EHCP and High Needs provision, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Leading Assessments for Examination Access Arrangements in line with JCQ regulations.
- Working closely with learners, parents/carers, Local Authorities and external agencies.
- Promoting learner independence, self-advocacy and successful preparation for adulthood.
- Supporting staff development through coaching, advice and training on inclusive practice.
- Using quality assurance activities, learner feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience leading teams within a SEND, education or learner support environment.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCP processes and inclusive practice.
- Ability to build effective relationships with learners, families, colleagues and external partners.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A genuine passion for improving learner outcomes and championing inclusion.
- Experience using data, quality assurance activities and learner feedback to identify improvements and enhance service delivery.
