Learning Support Practitioner (Level 3)
Wednesbury Oak Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Learning Support Practitioner (Level 3) on a fixed term contract to cover a vacancy to join our vibrant school community and play a key role in making a difference to children’s lives.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and have recent experience of working within a primary school setting across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the care, welfare and inclusion of pupils.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning.
- Plan and deliver targeted intervention programmes to individuals and groups of pupils.
- Assist pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their potential.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and engagement.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements and safeguarding procedures.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has excellent communication skills and a good standard of spoken and written English.
- Is positive, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Has experience of supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
- Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and equality of opportunity.
- Can build strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their best and develop confidence as learners.
