Learning & Workforce Reinvention Senior Manager
Location: London, Manchester, Edinburgh
Career Level: CL6 — Senior Manager
The challenge we are solving
The ability to build critical workforce skills at speed is now a strategic imperative at the highest level of enterprise. AI is rewriting roles, compressing skill lifecycles and exposing a fundamental gap between the capabilities organisations have and the capabilities they need to compete. For C-Suite leaders, CHROs, CLOs and Business Leaders, the question is urgent: how do we build enterprise-scale skilling capability — faster, more cost-effectively, and with measurable impact on business performance?
Accenture's Learning practice is leading the answer. Powered by LearnVantage — our AI-native enterprise learning business and platform — we help the world's largest organisations shift from isolated, costly training to personalised, AI-powered capability building that delivers productivity growth, workforce engagement and measurable learning ROI. We are building a market-defining position in this space, and we are looking for a senior leader who wants to help build this market — not just serve it.
As a team
This role sits at the heart of Accenture's Learning offering within the Talent Reinvention practice. We are a growth-oriented consulting team — not an L&D function — operating at the intersection of AI, learning strategy and enterprise transformation. Our sub-offerings span learning performance and innovation strategy, AI-powered learning technology, and end-to-end learning experience transformation.
The Learning offering is part of a broader Talent Reinvention practice that covers the full talent and transformation agenda: workforce strategy, organisation design, change and adoption, talent operating model reinvention, and skills-based organisation design. At this level, you will be expected to lead and originate work both in learning and across integrated solutions covering the breadth of our work in Talent, positioning Accenture as the partner of choice for clients navigating the full complexity of talent reinvention.
We operate as one team with our LearnVantage product colleagues — joint pipeline, joint delivery, joint market ambition. Our clients are leaders at the world's largest organisations.
In this role you will
- Own the growth agenda for the Learning offering: building a pipeline, originating client opportunities, shaping propositions and working across Accenture's broader Talent Reinvention and T&O network to win and scale work.
- Lead senior client engagements end-to-end — acting as trusted advisor and engagement sponsor across complex learning transformation programmes, AI skilling initiatives and enterprise capability-building mandates.
- Be the person senior leaders rely on to architect and oversee delivery: the benchmark is the ability to independently lead a large-scale enterprise learning transformation end-to-end, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across strategy, content, technology and managed services.
- Operate across the full Talent Reinvention agenda: leading or co-leading work that connects learning and skilling to workforce strategy, organisation design, change and adoption, and talent operating model — bringing the breadth of what the practice does to bear on client challenges.
- Drive Accenture's innovation agenda in enterprise learning: bringing new thinking on AI in learning, enterprise skilling architecture and learning operating models to clients and to the market.
- Shape the strategic direction of the Learning offering: developing new propositions, identifying white space in the market, and building the team and capability needed to pursue it.
- Establish thought leadership and market eminence: creating client-facing points of view, representing Accenture at industry forums, and building the practice's profile as the leading voice in AI-powered enterprise learning.
- Build and develop the team: hiring, coaching and developing a high-performing group of consultants with genuine expertise in AI-enabled learning and workforce transformation.
- Collaborate with LearnVantage product leadership, ecosystem partners and Accenture's global network to develop and scale integrated learning solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We are looking for
- A proven track record building a market or practice: you have grown a pipeline, won clients, and can speak to the commercial mechanics of building a professional services or advisory business.
- Deep consulting credibility in learning, workforce transformation or adjacent talent and people strategy: you can hold sophisticated conversations about enterprise skilling, AI in learning and learning ROI with C-Suite leaders.
- Comfort and credibility across the broader talent and transformation change agenda: you have worked across organisation design, change management, workforce strategy or talent operating model — and are confident leading or contributing to work beyond the learning thread when the client situation demands it. This is typical of the breadth expected within a Talent Reinvention consulting practice.
- The ability to lead complex programmes end-to-end: you are not a seller who hands off to delivery. You have personally led large-scale, multi-workstream transformations or learning initiatives and understand what it takes to sustain quality and client trust across a long engagement.
- Commercial orientation and growth mindset: you are motivated by building something, comfortable with the dynamics of business development, and able to balance being chargeable on client work whilst growing the market.
- Experience with AI in a learning or workforce context: not theoretical familiarity, but evidence of having applied AI, automation or intelligent platforms to real client or organisational challenges.
- Experience engaging senior learning, talent and business stakeholders — including the confidence and credibility to influence at C-Suite level.
- Senior leadership capability: you can build a team, set direction, develop talent and create accountability in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
- Background from management consulting, learning and skills advisory, workforce transformation, or learning technology in a senior advisory or commercial role — not a traditional internal learning leadership background.
