Hybrid – London
Salary – up to £70k DOE
12-month fixed term maternity cover with the opportunity to go permanent
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Leasehold Enfranchisement Consultant Solicitor to join a highly regarded Leasehold Enfranchisement department in Central London office to cover maternity leave from September 2026 with a possibility of a permanent position being offered.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established enfranchisement specialist to bring their own practice, work autonomously, and collaborate with a supportive and experienced team. Initially offered as maternity cover from September 2026, the role presents the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be confident managing complex leasehold enfranchisement matters, maintaining strong client and referrer relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of leasehold enfranchisement matters independently, including:
- Lease extensions
- Collective enfranchisement claims
- Right to Manage applications
- Related landlord and tenant matters
- Maintain and develop your own client following and referral network.
- Assist with servicing and developing the firm's existing enfranchisement caseload.
- Provide technically excellent and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Handle complex matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, surveyors, managing agents, and other professional referrers.
- Keep abreast of developments in legislation, case law, and market trends affecting leasehold property.

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in leasehold enfranchisement.
- Proven experience advising on lease extensions, collective enfranchisement claims, and related leasehold matters.
- Ability to manage matters independently from instruction through to completion.
- Established client following and/or referrer relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of leasehold enfranchisement legislation and procedure.
