THE ROLE

The Leasing Manager works across British Land's Campus portfolio, taking ownership of leasing performance for defined assets and customer segments. The role is accountable for five core areas: leasing strategy and business planning, transactions and lease events, market insight, customer and broker relationships, and leasing performance reporting. Through these areas, the Leasing Manager contributes directly to income growth, customer retention and long-term asset value creation.

The Senior Leasing Manager or Leasing Director retains overall accountability for leasing strategy, portfolio performance and delivery. Within that framework, the Leasing Manager leads agreed workstreams and transactions, develops customer and market relationships, provides commercial insight and drives leasing initiatives that support each asset's business plan. The role provides broad exposure across the full leasing lifecycle and offers a clear pathway towards greater portfolio responsibility over time. Success in the role will depend on a team-first mindset, strong relationship-building and the ability to coordinate effectively across the business and with external advisers to find solutions and maintain momentum.

British Land operates an integrated Campus model where Leasing, Asset Management, Property Management, Managed Workspace, Development and Marketing work together to deliver a single business plan for each asset. This includes our managed workspace platform, Storey, which provides flexible workspace solutions for growing businesses as part of the wider Campus proposition. Within this model, Leasing is responsible for understanding customer demand, shaping leasing strategy, executing transactions and providing market insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
