What You'll Do
As a Leather Trimmer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting luxury interiors, working with high-quality materials like leather, cloth, and carbon fibre. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leather Cutting and Preparation:
- Measure and cut leather to precise specifications using templates, cutting machines, or hand tools.
- Inspect and select premium leather hides for quality and colour matching.
- Skive, edge trim, or emboss leather to prepare it for assembly.

Interior Trim and Upholstery Work:
- Upholster seats, dashboards, door panels, and other interior components with precision and consistency.
- Apply padding, foam, and backing to create desired shapes and comfort levels.

Custom Modifications and Bespoke Detailing:
- Remove, modify, and refit trim components to meet exacting specifications.
- Seamlessly integrate leather-covered parts with other materials such as wood, metal, and carbon fibre.

Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and fine-tune your work to meet the highest quality standards.
- Rectify imperfections, ensuring a perfect finish for every vehicle.

- Partner with engineers, designers, and craftsmen to address build challenges and improve processes.
- Stay updated on new techniques, materials, and industry trends.
What You Bring To The Team
We're looking for individuals who thrive on precision and craftsmanship. The ideal Leather Trimmer will have:
- Extensive Experience: Hands-on expertise in full vehicle interior fitment, ideally in a restoration or bespoke environment.
- Material Knowledge: A deep understanding of working with leather, cloth, and carbon fibre.
- Specialist Background: Experience in classic vehicles, motorsport, or high-end/luxury automotive sectors is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: A relentless focus on achieving a flawless finish.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work overtime when needed.

Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am - 12.45 pm
- Overtime: Weekdays and Saturdays available
