We are investing in our academic provision and wish to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Lecturer. We expect all our staff to contribute to our teaching provision and deliver a high-quality student experience and to publish.
Candidates for the Lecturer role should either hold a UK legal professional qualification with relevant experience or be qualified to doctoral level. The successful candidate will also hold a UK undergraduate law degree or GDL (CPE), and a master’s qualification. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and learning in an HE or equivalent setting and demonstrate a commitment to research and publication.
We expect all our staff to contribute to our provision and help deliver a high-quality student experience. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and should have experience of teaching at least one of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge. Preference will be given to those candidates who can deliver teaching in one or more of the following areas:
- Applied Corporate Law
- Business Law
- Company Law
- Commercial Law
- Corporate Secretarial Practice
- European Law in Context
- Family and Child Law
- Legal Tech

The closing date for applications is NOON on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
Interviews will take place during November and will be conducted online. There will be a process of longlisting. All longlisted applicants will be invited to submit a recorded teaching session, for example a narrated PowerPoint presentation, for shortlisting purposes and before interviews takes place.
