Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.

An opportunity has arisen on our BA (Hons) Filmmaking course. The main focus of the role will be in the teaching of practice-based modules across the course and providing support to students using a range of digital and traditional approaches to Filmmaking.

You will need the skills or connections to build links with external employers, events, and opportunities for exhibiting student work. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be teaching on campus with some tutorials and large group lectures and undertake assessment; devising appropriate plans and schemes of work accordingly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
