Job Overview
Particular skills and knowledge of software design, networking, cyber-security, programming with systems analysis and web development are essential. The successful candidate will be able to assist in the selection, induction, teaching and assessment of students and will act as a course team leader/subject leader and personal tutor, as required and may also be asked to carry out cover duties across the wider faculty.

This role requires a recognised teaching qualification (CertEd, PGCE, or DET). If you do not currently hold one, you will be supported to achieve this within three years of your start date.
During induction, you may complete a 10-week Level 3 Award in Education, which can lead to a formal teaching qualification.

Qualifications
Level 2 English and maths (or equivalent) are required to progress to Level 5 teaching qualifications. If needed, SECG will provide fully funded courses to help you meet this requirement within one academic year.
