Lecturer in Engineering
Here at Kingston College, we are looking for a Lecturer in Engineering to teach both FE and HE vocational courses. Predominantly on vocational Level 2/3 programmes for full time and apprenticeship students, you will be responsible for the delivery, conduct and progress of students on these courses in line with College and School policies and procedures, ensuring the provision is of high quality.
Role Requirements
The requirements of this role are to teach Engineering on a range of units which may include areas of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Principles and Mathematics. These can be discussed at interview, as there are a range of units that can be used. Additionally, there may be some opportunities to teach HE Engineering up to Level 5.
We're looking for someone who is educated to degree level (or holds a high academic qualification) in an appropriate subject with strong knowledge of engineering relevant to the curriculum offer of the section. You will hold a teaching qualification with experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an Engineering environment or an educational setting and have knowledge of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning to support students.
