Role: Functional Skills Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2)
Hours/ days per week: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Start date: Sept 2026
End date: Estimated Oct 2026 – long-term temp - could be extended
Contract type: Temp
Pay rate: 20 – 30 ph umbrella
A further education college in Sheffield is looking for Functional Skills teachers to teach predominantly Maths, but will also require them to teach Level 1 English.

Requirements
- Mainly delivering Functional Skills & GCSE Maths
- Some Level 1 English delivery
- Teaching/tutoring experience required
- Confident engaging mixed-ability FE learners
- Able to build learner confidence in Maths & English
- Full-time hours with a consistent timetable
- DBS on the Update Service - or willingness to apply asap
