LECTURER – HEALTHCARE
35 HOURS PER WEEK

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management is looking to recruit a permanent Lecturer in Healthcare to deliver a range of programmes and courses within the Health and AHP curriculum area. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven member of staff who shares our ethos and commitment to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Healthcare, using a range of learning technologies to deliver face to face in person teaching and online distance learning teaching;
- Support students to improve engagement, retention, and success;
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content remains current and relevant; and
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing development.

- Be educated to SCQF Level 8 (HND or qualification of equivalent standard) or have relevant skills and experience in Healthcare including a wide range of clinical skills;
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to a wide range of student groups;
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously; and
- Have appropriate IT skills and be confident in using digital learning tools.
