Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering

We are recruiting for a Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering to join us at our Peterborough Campus!

Salary - £29,725 - £37,527 per annum (Depending on experience)
Hours - 7 hours per week, all year round
Contract - Fixed Term
Location - Peterborough College
Closing Date – 18th August 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic industry expert or educator to teach and assess students across Level 1 to 3 Hospitality and Catering courses. In this role, you will lead classrooms and training environments, run course co-ordination, and help shape the future workforce of the vibrant hospitality sector.

Key Skills You Bring

  • Culinary & Service Expertise: Deep knowledge of professional cookery, food service, and hospitality trends.
  • Course Co-ordination: Capability to manage curriculum delivery, schemes of work, and group profiles.
  • Target Driven Coaching: Creating actionable individual SMART goals to boost student retention.
  • Quality Assurance: Skilled in internal verification and moderation to meet awarding body standards.
  • Tech Integration: Using Information Learning Technology (ILT) to build modern learning environments.
  • Functional Contextualisation: Embedding essential English and maths naturally into practical lessons.
