What We Are Looking For

  • Level 3 or above industry-related qualification in professional cookery
  • Teacher trained or willingness to work towards
  • Recent industry experience in professional cookery
  • Ability to teach on Hospitality and Catering courses at Level 1, 2 and 3
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and work effectively under pressure

Duties/responsibilities

  • Teach effectively on a range of programmes across the College curriculum, including timetabled lessons, cover, delivery of muddles, or bespoke provision
  • Develop and maintain the curriculum area's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and incorporate digital technologies/ILT to enhance learning experiences
  • Support learners of varied needs and abilities, ensuring inclusivity and equality of opportunity
  • Undertake appropriate staff development activities to support personal development and the changing needs of the College
