An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a chef lecturer to provide learning for the next generation of chefs.

About the Role

The Oaklands Education group is a vibrant and diverse learning-centred community, providing transformational education for over 100 years. Oaklands is more than just a College and is well positioned to be internationally known, nationally recognised, regionally relevant, and locally significant.

We are looking for a chef lecturer to join our team and play a crucial role in providing learning for the next generation of chefs. In this position, you will teach and mentor students across Entry 3 to Level 2 in professional cookery, food safety, and employability skills. You will also support in the delivery of commercial events and experiences.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 in Professional Cookery
  • At least 5 years of industry experience
  • Level 2 in Food Safety
  • Passionate and committed to providing high standards in assessment and feedback
