Salary up to £35,619 per annum based on experience and qualifications
Permanent Contract 39 hours per week, which will reduce to 37 hours per week from 1st August 2026 with no change in salary

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Lecturer in Computing to join our team and help shape the future workforce of this exciting sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or industry professional looking to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of digital innovators. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across our Computing provision, supporting students from Level 1 through to Higher Education University programmes.
About The Role
As a Lecturer in Computing, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and industry-relevant lessons.
- Teach across a range of programmes including Level 1, Level 2, T Level and University provision.
- Support students to develop the technical, professional and employability skills required by the digital sector.
- Contribute to curriculum development and help shape innovative learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
- Build positive relationships with employers and industry partners to enhance student opportunities and progression.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has expertise in Software Development.
- Is qualified to degree level in a computer science discipline.
- Is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Understands current and emerging technologies and their impact on industry.
- Can inspire and motivate students through creative and engaging teaching.
- Values inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Teaching qualifications are desirable, but we welcome applications from industry professionals who are keen to move into education and share their knowledge and experience.
