Lecturer in Countryside & Habitat Management
Do you have a passion for the countryside, environment, and wildlife, and want to inspire the next generation? Whether you’re already working in education or an experienced industry professional looking for a new career path, we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced, and passionate individual to join the team.
Using your industry knowledge to unlock potential, you’ll support learners to develop their practical skills and professional standards in real countryside locations. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression for all students.
Key Requirements
- Specialist knowledge of the curriculum area, ideally enhanced by any relevant industry/professional experience, and a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge.
- Experience of working or teaching Countryside Management, Environmental Science, and/or Fisheries would be useful but not essential.
- Be a team player and an excellent communicator, able to maintain a proactive approach and an eye for detail whilst working to challenging curriculum deadlines.

Employment Details
- Location: NKC Hadlow College campus.
- Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.
- Pay: £38,049 to £45,445 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
