Lecturer in Economics

About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking academics to join us as Lecturers in Economics. We want to speak to people with relevant subject expertise, a passion for developing others and creative and collaborative mindsets. You will:
- Have strong industry experience, through consultancy, government or industry roles, or you will have good experience of successful pedagogic innovation within the Economics discipline.
- Have a desire to shape our future curriculum.
- Be passionate about supporting students into great graduate roles.
- Be committed to developing your external profile and contributing to the wider academic and professional community.

Our department is one of the largest and most vibrant Finance and Economics departments in the UK, with over 2,000 students and more than 80 academic staff. Our triple accreditation places us in the top 1% of business schools worldwide - a mark of excellence in both education and research.

Successful Candidates Will Be Invited To Do The Following
- Take part in an interview with members of the department's senior leadership team.
- Deliver a 15 min presentation (with an additional 10 min Q&A time) to members of the department on a topic of the department's choosing.
